A meta blog
Background
Here give a context to “why” this blog post is necessary.
Context to this blog: This is a blog template. I have been blogging and will continue. Getting the format right, the headings, spacing, the line, etc takes time. I have also lost the thread in one of the posts. Having a template/framework will force me to think in all the mandatory aspects before I start writing. Hence this blog post about the blog template/framework. Like this piece, in this background section, start with a personal story. Or a story from one of the Peer-Mentor companies.
Also, I was asked, “What should be in my blog?”. So, this blog answers that.
Coming back to the template, the preview pic, it should be a visual representation of this post. A lot of people are visual learners. So, a preview pic that depicts the “takeaway” helps. This blog post is about my blog framework and hence the aircraft framework.
Title: should be a moniker for the take away, or something catchy to evoke interest.
Sub Title: to substantiate the title. Typically the “what” and “how” of the takeaway
Why:
This will be the second section. Here we typically talk about “why” of this post. Why is the “take away” important, how will the take away help. Add a picture of a quote by a famous person to back your “this take away is important”.
This post is about “a blog framework”. With a framework, we can focus on the curx/takeaway rather than the presentation.
What:
Here we address, “what are we going to do to get the benefit or the takeaway”? This section can be a bulleted list of “what needs to be done”.
Take away from this post is the blog template. I am going to use this in all my further blogs.
How
“How” are we doing the “what” is in order to get the benefit/takeaway. This section can be a bulleted list of “how” are we getting the benefit.
I am going to make a copy of this blog post when I want to write a new post. Then I fill in the crux of the post into the framework. So, this is how I am going to use this post.
When, Who are optional
Noting more to write : )
Takeaway:
Put a quote here. It can be a key phrase you have used in this post or a quote that you have mentioned.
For matters that matter, use your grey matter; for the rest, use a template - Rohith K N
1) If there are other things to remember, put a bulleted list here.
2) This is literally the “revision section”.
3) Give examples of how we have used in Peer-Mentor companies.
4) Have the call to action here.
5) You can download the blog template here.
6) We have a presentation template too. You can download it here.
